J. Russell Doumas, Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Doumas joined TESH as the Chief Executive Officer in July 2005. He is directly responsible to the Board of Directors for the overall management of TESH and its many programs.

Mr. Doumas has 35 years of experience serving persons with disabilities through educational and employment opportunities. Most recently, he was President of Job Point in Columbia, Missouri, where he was responsible for operations of a comprehensive employment and training center serving persons with disabilities as well as the economically disadvantaged. Mr. Doumas was also Director of Metro Industrial Services in Lexington, Kentucky, for ten years and also an Adult Education Instructor there.

Mr. Doumas received his Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Kentucky and his Master's in Rehabilitation Administration from the University of San Francisco's College of Business Administration.

Mr. Doumas has been actively involved in his community and with the legislature. His contributions and participation in these areas include his work on the Executive Committee of American Congress of Community Supporters and Employment Services, Executive Committee of BooneWorks!, Past President of Missouri Association of Rehabilitation Facilities, Past President of Kentucky Association of Rehabilitation Facilities, Past Board Member of Chamber of Commerce of Columbia, National Advisory Committee on Vocational Programs, Surveyor for the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), Missouri Special Education Advisory Panel, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation State Advisory Council, Boonville City Council, Assistant Scout Master, and Rotary Club of Northwest Columbia. Currently, he serves as Secretary/Treasurer of IACRP and has a Congressional appointment to the Ticket to Work and Work Incentive Advisory Panel. Mr. Doumas is a member of Leadership Coeur d'Alene and Coeur d'Alene Rotary.
