Camp Independence Summer Program
- June 18 through August 16, 2007
- Monday through Thursday
- 9 am to 3pm
The summer program at TESH provides opportunities for children with special needs to celebrate the days of summer with coordinated community activities such as horseback riding, swimming, hiking and boating. Campers can interact with peers in a group setting with individualized programs and direction from a life-skills coach.
Program Eligibility:
- Children and youth ages 5-20 who have a developmental disability
- Medicaid eligible to receive developmental therapy
Specialized programs at Camp Independence:
- Extended School Year
- Developmental Therapy
- Psycho-Social Rehabilitation
- Intensive Behavioral Intervention
Registration:
- Dates: April 4-May 14
- Activities Fee: $100 (limited number of need-based scholarships available)
