Activity Center
The Activity Center is a Medicaid-funded alternative for adults with developmental disabilities who have reached a certain level of development and need a new environment to help them expand their physical and mental skills.
A variety of activities are offered in a quiet, safe setting, including arts and crafts, board games, and classes in current events, social skills, and self-identity. Recreational outings and informative tours of facilities or businesses are also a part of the program.
Who is Eligible?
An adult over the age of 18 years who:
- Has been determined to have a developmental disability and is on a Medicaid-funded waiver
- Is not suited for full-time developmental therapy
- Has no challenging and/or maladaptive behaviors
- Is able to provide self-care
Where are Services Provided?
The Activity Center is located in the Annex adjacent to the main TESH, Inc. facility in Coeur d'Alene.

TESH is available to work with parents, guardians, caregivers, and others involved in the life of an eligible individual—whether funded through Medicaid or self-pay.
